Speed and Development Camp

SUMMER SPEED AND AGILITY CLINIC:

Are you ready to take athleticism to the next level?  Look no further!  Our speed and agility clinic that runs during the summer season isn't focused on any particular sport and is designed for kids aged 9-13 to help them unlock their full potential on the field or court.  Led by experienced coaches, this program is designed to enhance speed, agility and overall athletic performance in a fun and supportive environment.  The program meets twice a week and includes a variety of drills and exercises that focus on developing skills such as sprinting, jumping, cutting, and accelerating.  The clinic is informal - during the summer, WMAA understands that families have vacation and other commitments. Attendance at each week's sessions is not mandatory and WMAA offers the clinic at a minimal cost of $10 which is intended to ensure participants are covered by our liability insurance policy.

We offer:
- Expert Coaching:  Our coaches are dedicated to helping every participant improve speed, agility and confidence on the field
- Fundamental Training:  Learn proper running mechanics, cutting techniques and agility drills to gain a competitive edge
- Dynamic Workouts:  Engage in dynamic workouts and activities tailored to improve balance, coordination, and explosiveness
- Fun and Motivation:  Stay motivated and inspired with exciting games and challenges designed to keep kids active and enthusiastic about fitness

Each session includes a warm-up to prepare the body for exercise, followed by a series of drills and exercises designed to improve specific physical skills. Kids will learn proper form and technique for each exercise and will progress to more challenging drills as they gain strength and skill.  The program includes a mix of sprint drills, agility drills, plyometric drills, and strength training drills that use bodyweight exercises, making it accessible to kids of all skill levels and fitness backgrounds. The program is led by experienced coaches who will provide individual attention and feedback to help kids improve their performance and reach their full potential.

The speed and development camp is a great opportunity for kids to learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun while getting in shape. We encourage parents to sign up their kids and give them the gift of a healthy and active lifestyle!
