Soccer Program:
WMAA offers two levels of soccer play for its members, Recreational Travel and Intramural, both of which are offered in the fall and the spring sport seasons. Click on "Scoccer Program:" above for more information.
Basketball Program:
Our In-House basketball program is Co-Ed and emphasizes fundamentals, sportsmanship and age-appropriate skill development. At all levels, priority is placed on enjoying the great game of basketball while learning new skills and being a part of a team. Click on "Basketball Program:" above for more information.
Flag Football Program:Our Flag Football program emphasizes fundamentals, sportsmanship and age-appropriate skill development. At all levels, priority is placed on enjoying the game of Football while learning new skills and being a part of a team. Our desire is to find kids who may not be ready to commit to tackle football but still want to learn the game. WMAA Flag Football is an In-House, Co-Ed Program of two age groups, 1st -3rd and 4th-5th.
Speed and Agility ClinicOffered during the summer, WMAA's agility clinic is an in-house clinic for 2nd-8th graders. The program includes a warm-up to prepare the body for exercise, followed by a series of drills and exercises designed to improve specific physical skills in a progressive fashion after gaining strength and skill. It includes a mix of sprint, agility, plyometric, and strength training drills that use bodyweight exercises. Success is available at all skill levels and fitness backgrounds. The program is not sport-specific, is led by experienced coaches, and provides individual attention and feedback to help kids improve performance and reach individual full potential.
Field Hockey ProgramNew for the spring 2025 season, WMAA is offering field hockey for girls K-8th grade. With no experience needed, the program will focus on fundamentals of the game, skill building, positioning, and game-like scrimmage play. See "Field Hockey" under Programs for more information.
